It was created by me in 2010 it is an oil on canvas, using the new ochre pigments I brought back this year from Roussillon in France. It was inspired by some amazingly vivid sunsets and sunrises I saw while in Strandhill in Sligo over the summer. It was with a true sense of wonder I watched these spectacular colours unravel across the sky.
