We feel most alive when we live on that edge of death. Riding a bike a little too close to the edge of a cliff, driving a bit too fast, drinking a bit too much, doing that "crazy thing" that one time. The vibrant orange figures symbolize those actions we take in this world and all the games we play to "get off" while we are here. Playing on the vines of mortality/immortality. But once that line is crossed-- do we regret? Do we grasp for anyway to get back to the world we knew or do we despair into darkness? or do we look for the next in what is represented by the glowing yellow beyond what we know reality? Maybe each one of us choose what we focus on.
