This was the first poured figurative abstract I finished. Though the scene is clearly an ocean, it is disjointed, free of land sea rules, and beautifully chaotic. Also I purposefully used flesh tones instead of traditional blues, grays, and greens. The idea is It is a reflection of what we were before getting the idea that we are more in control by "owning" the natural world.
